Not a bad choice in my opinion. Biden is a smart guy and he speaks well. He also looks the part that the voters are used to.
Hilary would have been an anchor to his campaign. She's too easily attacked and too easily disliked (whether that's her fault or just that the GOP that has had so much practice running her down).
Obama has chosen Biden as his running mate

I don't know too much about Senator Biden but based on his stance on net neutrality, I don't believe he wholly represents my interests.

I hope he realises just how many votes that will have affected. Obama gained a large cut of his worldwide support from a strong internet presence, and for that to backfire will not help him at all.
However, I heard that McCain has similar views anyway, so... Either loose or loose even more with a republican presidency.

If you're going to be swayed by any single issue, I could have picked one more important than net neutrality. Yes, net neutrality is important, but I don't think that the fate of the nation begins and ends with net neutrality. A non-exhaustive list of other issues might also include the national debt, healthcare, the ice shelf, missions to the moon, and the contentious matter of foreign policy.

Oh well, one day it will get passed and then we will all suffer with 10 Kbs connections - but hey, it will be equally sucky for everyone.ajs15822 wrote:I don't know too much about Senator Biden but based on his stance on net neutrality, I don't believe he wholly represents my interests.

One keyword here is acceptable, and just to be clear: if there are two candidates which are acceptable to you, then choose the better one
. In other word, no perfect candidate that can fulfill all your requirements can ever exist.
A willow deeply scarred, somebody's broken heart
And a washed-out dream
They follow the pattern of the wind, ya' see
Cause they got no place to be
That's why I'm starting with me
