MOTHER OF ALL GOD, This is Dan Quayle territory we are entering here.
The first time I can understand, you could say, she was no paying attention.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z75QSExE0jU

The secund time, maybe it caught her off guard
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nokTjEdaUGg

The third time…
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tAyLluhF4uc
Where was she at? This started to be funnier than Saturday night life satire. I mean Sarah Palin lines were so funny that Saturday night life took them right from the transcript of the interview.

Um.. did you actually read the text in that web page, below the video clip ?
If yes, what part of it do you find untrue ?

And factcheck.org is hardly "out to bad mouth McCain", it unbiasedly debunks ads and statements by both parties.
If you take a look, you will find plenty of debunking done for Obama ads too.
VictorMoran wrote:you will notice that out of 400 member of congress 205 republican voted for the bill, only 16 republican opposed it.
With that count alone the bill would had passed in the house, since in the house a bill only need a simple majority to pass.
If you look at the democratic votes you will see that number of votes count was 139 yes, and 69 no.
The democrats voted with 67% approval. The bill would have passed even in a democrat majority congress.
Actually I tried to post a comment there last week, and it was never published. In my comment I did not bad mouth Palin, all I said was that most the people posting comments were blindly hating on her, and that people should actually do research and judge her fairly instead of jumping on the bandwagon. I did not see a single neutral or postive comment regarding Palin, in the 50+ comments I read. With this, I will confidently call BS on your claim that factcheck.org is unbiased. I encourage people to read it themself, a simple 10 minute scan should reveal the truth.

Regarding Obama's comment, that puts it in a different light. I do however find it oddly convenient of him to come up with a phrase right after Palin's joke. Whats really scary is the idea that he could have been targeting her, yet he is so good at speaking he has you all fooled. That or its just me, and Obama is an innocent guy who had no intention of talking about opponents that way. Obama is a scary guy, you can't tell what his motives are...

There seems to be some confusion here.. I'm talking about http://factcheck.org/, which debunked the "lipstick on pig" ad,
here: http://wire.factcheck.org/2008/09/10/pi ... pit-bulls/
Not the site where you saw all the negative comments.

EDIT:
factcheck.org doesn't even have comments.

It is not as uncommon as you think it is, here is McCain using the phrase in the mist of the Hilary Clinton healthcare plan,
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yMHlIfOTS1c
And here are other instances of him using the same phrase
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WMPYkNQlJMM
I guess you could say then that McCain is a pig on a lipstick for running the campaign that he is running based on lies and fabrications.

At least you are given Obama some credit by saying that Obama is so smart that he throw a shet shat so subtle that only the republicans sense it, and no one else did. What will be the point of that?
I can play the same subtlety game to you, for example you said “Obama is a scary guyâ€

haha, I don't like that game. :P

After watching those clips I would agree that Obama's joke was probably just coincidence. Either way its open for interpretation, but seems to be commonly used for various topics, can't really hold it against him.

Hey evak if you like those, then you are going to love these.
It looks like that McCain, after saying he will run and honorable campaign, he had capitulated to the standards Carl Roves GOP tactics.
he is borrowing a page from George Wallace segregation campaign of 1968 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4RZ4G251 ... re=related

He is trying to paint Obama as a foreigner black, terrorist, all at once.

Those are the people the republicans at Fox News and AM radio talk shows, call the red meat conservative core of the party.
The only time we had seen the kind of hate that the Palin/Mccain rallies inspire on people, is in some of the KKK rallies, but without the funny pointy hats.

which BTW these days, are all republicans. So much for straight talk express.

Hell, they all are racists aren't they ?

Racist you say, not, I do not think he is racist under regular circumstances.
He is just a volatile, unstable, erratic, cranky and irrational man, that gets terrible angry when things do not go his way.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fAyK-enrF1g
When that happens he do not hesitate using heavy handed tactics to achieve his goals.

The way things are going now, he and his campaign is engaging in throwing coded messages with strong racist undertone designed to put onto the mind of the people that Obama is some kind of a Manchurian candidate.

The strategist is only rallying the more radical and extremist members of the republican party and alienating everyone else.

What is the most deplorable is that the McCain camping is doing this at the same time the nation and the entire world is facing the worst economic crisis in more than 100 years.
To call on one of McCain own slogan, It appears that McCain rather smear an opponent than running a campaign on the issues affecting the Amercian people

According to some economist like Benjamin Bernanke, Alan Green Span, Henry Paulson, this crash is one in a 100 years event, the crash of the stack market now is much more severe than it was in 1929, because we are having a worldwide credit freezing.
The difference is that in 1929 the country was already in an economic reception that turned into a depression by the financial crash.
Now technically, and thanks to the corrupt republicans changing the criteria for measuring unemployment and economic grow, the country is not in an economic reception.
But almost every economist, I have heard in BRAND NAME, is saying that this crisis is so bad that it can take the country into a reception and even into a depression, despite the crooked criteria for unemployment rate the administration is using.

You may not believe this, but this but this administration somehow decided to exclude from the unemployment rate people who are unemployed for more than 26 weeks, just because they no longer qualify for unemployment benefit.
That's how the republican administration is claiming an unemployment rate lower that 6%, but in reality according to economist like Paul Krugman, our real unemployment rate is between 10% and 12%.
It remains to be seen if this crash will lead to a depression with a 25% unemployment like in 1930, but the signs are not good.

One of the things that made the crash of the 1930 really bad was that at the time the president was Herbert Hoover, a Republican strong believer on the unrestrained free marked, he came up with the phase "the fundamental of the economic are strongâ€

Man , I am wondering if you are not being paid for posting this stuff.

Everything is a damn republican fault ... I suspect you will soon start claiming that most cancers are somewhat related to past republican administrations.

Yah, I get the feeling VictorMoran is being spoon fed all this information, as if he is part of some republican hater association where they pool together all data they can find bashing republicans.

VictorMoran, you seem to hate free regulation and want government to take over everything? Why do you believe government regulation will make everything better?

From what I see there are politicians that take action, politicians that sit back and point fingers, and politicians that do some of both. I'm glad you are not a politician.

In a nut shell the republicans recipe for the economic meltdown are the exact same recipes of Herbert Hoover, but it is no a coincident, it is a fundamental ideology.
Not only do a lot of people disagree with your conclusions, your methods of expression are too unprofessional to persuade many people. No native english speakers would consider your grammar and word choices as indicative of a grasp of the dominant language in the U.S.

Most english speakers would read your message and just go "Huh?". It takes a concerted effort to extract your ideas from your poor efforts at expression.

I do not bash fractured english from non-native english speakers for the main topics on the board here, but you are discussing U.S. politics and I think people would question a political pundit whose expression is too far out of the mainstream.

I have to say I am as far to the left liberal as they come, but I still do not think that conservatives are terrorist just because they happens to have a different ideology, I just think they are greedy and misguided.
I love how you say “I do not bash fracture Englishâ€

Wow I just read this new material. It seems the rest of the world agree more with Paul Krudman economics ideas than they do with Green Span, Phill Graham, Henry Paulson and the slew of republican economist.
Krudman just won a novel price today for his work on unbalanced economic trades, job outsourcing, and tariff less importation.
http://news.aol.com/article/bush-critic ... ics/208579

He was saying that these policies lead to a consumer economy based on paper, but he was ridiculed time and time again by Foxnews and AM radio talk shows people.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XaagpBO_CMY
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MUOFTPbxuWA

While they where celebrating the brilliance of people like Grahm and Green Span
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oLrupJ1UbdM

I can only wait what Neil Cavuto and Bill O’ Reilly respond in the next few day.
I am going to go on a ledge and said that Cavuto and O’ Reilly will connect the economic collapse to the elitist committee that awards novel prices.
I know it is farfetched but coming from conservatives republicans like Cavuto, nothing is really impossible, like the time he when in a Journalistic investigation and found that Universal healthcare is terrorist recruitment tool.

You should win a prize, for failure to even copy a news item correctly.

"Krudman" is Paul Krugman.
"novel" is Nobel
"price" ought to be prize

I think you do this on purpose, to attract attention. Because you can't be that dumb.

Hey Warmi, how about that debate tonight? Did McCain completly lost his mind? Or was that a new Maverick strategy or tactics?

Hey weshowe what can I say, when you are faithful you are faithful.
weshowe wrote:… So you guys can huff and puff all you want about oil and uranium and call George Bush a liar, but a significant number of Americans still believe Mr. Bush is a patriot, that he has made the world safer and has more gumption than any of the leaders in Europe do.
At a 31% approval rating George W Bush is the worse president in American history since James Buchanan and Herbert Hoover. Even McCain tonight distance himself from Bush.

Whoa, we are still getting ripples from the two stars of the McCain camping.
http://www.alternet.org/blogs/peek/1114 ... ut:_mccain_
He will just not go away.

I do not know why but somehow when I read about these two I get an urge to watch Charlotte's Web.
It is a children story about a barn spider that made friend with a pig. By the end when her eggs hatch she has to die so that she becomes nutrients for her off springs.
It is grossly changed in the American version to make it Disney palatable, but it really is a sad story.

Hey maybe Mccain off springs, I mean Joe the plumber and Sarah Palin become the next pair for 2010.

@KungFooMasta, I am glad you like my analogies; hey Larry David made a show about nothing and was very successful :D
Now time for another one, I hope you like it.

http://www.washingtonmonthly.com/archiv ... 016025.php
When Dick Cheney, is calling on the republicans to approve the loan to the car industry, you know that what is coming is no pretty.

The evil but smart republicans do not really want that dead body in their watch, but it appears that intelligence is a resource that is not in abundance to the rest of the Republican Party, only greed is in abundance.
Just listen some of the republican senators how they rationalize with Neil Cavuto from Fox News that the best thing for America is for the car industry go bankrupt.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C4F5DfqMHbo
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v8i1FOMp07w
We are speaking of 20 to 30 manufacturers, dealers and suppliers going down plus no less than three 3 million jobs before the year is out. Did anyone see This Week Stephonopholis?

Now if in the next few days Bush do not lend the 14 billion to GM form the $700 for the financial sector, GM will have to file for chapter 11 bankrupts which in this case will be effective chapter 7 liquidation.
In fact some republican senators are asking for Ford and GM to be liquidated so the Toyota and Honda pick up the parts at options, this is conservatism republican politics at its best.
Who said the conservative republican are friend of blue color worker?

The Republican Party will not only be known as the Party of Warren G. Harding, Herbert Hoover and Richard Nixon, in the 1900’s
It will be known as the party of George W. Bush, one of the top five worse presidents in history, and adding to the vast list of disasters of his administration, the complete of the destruction of American Car industry.
How do you like this analogy?
