Dot Hack DVDs

Does anyone know if it's possible to buy only the DVDs that came with the Dot Hack game? I used to have the first game and I remember there was a DVD with it and I really enjoyed the anime. I don't have a PS2 anymore, so I don't care about the game, I just want to get the DVDs.

AFAIK You can buy the DVD from the parallel series but not those that were sell with the games.
I know that those videos are obviously available on the internet but that's not legal at all (and will not reward the creators).

Actually, he bought the game and paid for it, so it's (to my understanding) perfectly legal for him to download a copy of it from pirate sources.

I've bought many games through the years that I no longer have the disks for, and I wouldn't hesitate to download them from a torrent site. In fact I recently found the soundtrack from the game Burn : Cycle on isohunt and downloaded it. I used to have the original disk, it was destroyed, and that changes nothing about whether I bought a license for that content.

That's probably true if you just lost or threw away the original media. But if you sold it (as I did), then you are no longer the original owner and it would be illegal.

Thanks for the advice. The used games are about as cheap as a new DVD anyway, so I may just buy them and then try to sell the games disc seperately, just to get the DVDs.
