Has anybody got the chance to test Ogre on the icore7?
If so was there a significant performance difference?

Yeah the new core 7 is GPU bound. It screams in Far Cry 2 if you have 3xSLI GTX 280 though.

The second graph is the most interesting, shows that with a single card the FPS is flat 52fps across all resolutions 1024x768 through 2560x1600
Stick in 3 GPUS in sli and 1024x768 runs at a whopping 139FPS!!! and a respectable 83fps at 2560x1600. Quite a leap from 52FPS with one GPU

Hmm... How do you convert them into a common unit?scratchyrice wrote:Only one with more money than brain would buy 3 280gtx's tho.
Money = 200 $
Brain = 100 ?? (brain-units? 'bu'?)
Anyway, I think money and brain would be orthogonal.

Great, now we're going to have a bunch of guys comparing brain sizes.
I've got the BIGGEST BRAIN, ITS A WHOPPING 12 BRAIN UNITS!
You've got to be kidding me, MINE IS 14 BRAIN UNITS!!!
Uh, guys, what's the average brain size, I'm kind of ashamed, my brain is only 5 units
LOL NOOB MINE IS 13 BRAIN UNITS

Too late! They had to invent a new unit for my brain size; a beta brain unit.
It's equivalent to 1 * 10^24 bu or 1 βbu
