What was your previous account name?
Did you have any posts in it?
When did you create it?
When was the last time it was active?
Users are typically only banned or deleted when they post spam as their first few posts. Also anybody who's first post is in the off topic board and doesn't have anything to do with ogre may get banned (I don't do that, but some other admins might).
An account with any ogre related posts is never banned or deleted without a discussion in the private moderator board. Although accidents could happen and someone clicked delete on the wrong name.

Hmm AngryUserNew hasn't logged on in 2 weeks to see why he was banned.
I did a little digging, turns out he's been banned all over the net. There's a heap of forums with a user called AngryUserNew posting "Why you banned my old account?! WTF??? "
His ip address is a static ip in russia which is marked as a forum spam source by whatismyipaddress.com
I hope it won't make him more angry, but I've just deactivated his account, banned his user name and his ip address.
(I could have just deleted the whole topic and him, but I thought the info on how banning works is still useful, and shows that we didn't accidently ban someone, it's just a moron spammer).
