A Kickstarter I actually find likeable enough to post here

Post by TheSHEEEP »

Yeah,

I'm not usually running around in forums, posting about crowdfunding projects. And I won't do it again in the near future, so don't worry ;)
But this one is just so likeable, I can't resist. And no, I am in no way involved in this other than having pledged.

It is a rather small project, asking for a mere 4000$ to make a "simple 2D, grid based and turn based engine" for RPGs with a PnP and Goldbox-style feel and a first adventure module for it.

Have a look

I like PnP, I like the old Goldbox games and the games they mention as inspiration. Also, a couple making such an engine in a combined effort?
That's just sooo sweet!
There should be more projects like that on crowdfunding platforms. But not too much, can't fund them all :D

Yeah, that's what I had to say about it and my good deed for the day :)

They cancelled "Solentar" in order to kickstart IceBlink (it replaces Solentar):-

A willow deeply scarred, somebody's broken heart
And a washed-out dream
They follow the pattern of the wind, ya' see
Cause they got no place to be
That's why I'm starting with me
