Seconded! (Also from GMT+10!) :)

This year's new year activity was spending a couple of hours extracting ogg music files from a bog-standard pack file for a japanese RPG I'm playing, because I wanted to listen to them outside the game. (Why they bother with anything other then .zip files nowdays is anyone's guess...)

In any event it was either a geeky (coding) or artsy (music!) welcoming to the new year since I finished it on the dot of midnight. :)

New year resolutions?

Edit: HAPPY NEW YEAR! :)

Less "oooh-shiiiny-distraction!", more attention span? But I've been the archetype of the absent minded professor even since elementary school, so I don't think that's going to happen in my lifetime. :)

A better resolution more attainable would be for me to focus on learning the Japanese language theory a bit more studiously, rather then getting distracted by manga and Japanese RPGs. :) But it falls under the "oh look, something *new* and *shiiiny*!" attention span thing I mentioned previously. :)

Bah :)

Still some hours to go. It's 18:45 here.

Some people broke the rules by starting to fire "rockets" way before 18:00 :x well I don't mind. Officially they need to stop it at 6:00 o'clock in the morning.

Well, I can't help it if I live in the future. :)

Although brisbane is an hour behind sydney and melbourne, since we don't put up with that daylight savings crap.

Kiritimati (christmas islands) is GMT +14.

And only 4 hours past bedtime back in the future. :)

Anyway, to sleep: perchance to dream, and all that.

When written, '2009' looks cooler than '2008', don't you think? Lets hope it'll be a cool year too. ;)

Happy new year! I'm really exited what 2009 will bring for Ogre! I hope many new developments (such as XBox360 and CgFX support...), improvements and a lot of fun!

Let's spread Ogre all over the world :D !

We still need a decent CgFX editor for Linux though. :? I'm thinking of writing my own after my final exams.
